If someone in your class test positive for COVID, the entire class will work remotely for 10 days.

Public Spaces:

Hand sanitizer stations will be available around campus. Most public-facing offices will be equipped with shields to protect both students and the employees. Employees will be disinfecting regularly.

We will regularly clean/disinfect common areas such as water fountains, vending machines, and restrooms.

We provide regular weekly emails with any updates. We also provide P&HCC Alerts for emergency notifications. Sign up for P&HCC Alerts.

Mask Use:

Masks or face shields are required when inside any campus building –in classrooms, in the halls, and when interacting with others in an office. Those who do not have masks can pick one up at the security office. If no one is in the office when you arrive, please call security at 276-656-5494.

Safety Requirements

Do not come to campus if you are sick or have been exposed to COVID-19. Contact your instructors if you have been exposed to COVID-19, contracted COVID-19, or need to make alternate arrangements due to any illness.

All students are required to submit the COVID-19 safety agreement found on Canvas.

Vaccine Requirements

P&HCC does not require students to be vaccinated. However, the state is requiring all state employees to either be vaccinated or to show proof of a negative COVID test each week. This directive applies to all P&HCC faculty, staff, and part-time employees.
