Educational Talent Search

The Educational Talent Search (ETS) program serves 6th - 12th graders from Martinsville City and Henry & Patrick Counties nurturing students’ skills and knowledge. Motivating students to complete high school and pursue post-secondary education is the aim of ETS. Services provided by Educational Talent Search are provided at no cost to participants and include the following:

•    College and financial aid (FAFSA) application assistance

•    Academic, financial, career, and personal counseling

•    Skill building: studying, test-taking, time management, life skills & organization

•    Waivers for SAT/ACT and VA College Applications

•    All-expense-paid college campus tours

•    Tutoring and Entrance exams prep

•    Summer programming

•    Parent information workshops and assistance

•    FAFSA/SEED assistance

•    Essay editing and scholarship research
