The Testing Center provides testing services for P&HCC distance learning courses and proctors tests for other colleges. Test proctoring is available to students in traditional class settings for legitimate make-up situations as instructed by faculty.
Prior to taking a test, students must:
- Show photo ID (Student ID, Driver’s License, etc)
- Provide EMPID, course number, instructor’s name, and test information
- Arrive at least a full hour before closing time. Allow adequate time to complete the test.
- Leave belongings in the assigned area (including cell phones); lockers are provided
Students living in Martinsville or Henry and Patrick Counties must take proctored tests at either P&HCC’s main campus or at the P&HCC’s Patrick County site. Students living outside P&HCC’s service region can complete a Student-Proctor Agreement form to take tests at an alternative approved proctor site and are responsible for postage to mail tests, if necessary.
