The Patrick & Henry Community College Board welcomes its newest member, Buzz Custer.
Custer is a practicing clinical pharmacist at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He currently serves as the First Lieutenant and is on the Board of Directors at Ridgeway Rescue Squad and supports and trains emergency medical providers as a certified Emergency Medical Technician, American Heart Association instructor, and an Education coordinator with the Virginia Office of EMS.
Custer is a graduate of Bassett High School, Radford University, and Wingate University. He was appointed by Henry County to fulfill an unexpired term that ends in 2026.
