Resources for Parenting Students

Welcome to the PHamily!

P&HCC strives to create a culture of care to support students who are pregnant or parenting by offering personalized guidance and connections to campus and community resources, so you don’t have to choose between family and your future.

Any enrolled P&HCC student who is pregnant, postpartum, nursing, or parenting children is eligible for services.

Available services and resources may vary. We’ll work with you to explore the best options for your needs.

P&HCC helps connect students to campus and community resources to help them find the support they need.

We offer:

    • Personalized guidance on registration, financial aid, and navigating college processes.

    • Referrals to community partners for assistance.

    • Assistance in requesting pregnancy and lactation accommodations under Title IX.

    • Basic needs connections to our campus food pantry and local support programs.

    • Academic success strategies, including tutoring connections and technology loan options when available.

    • A private lactation/breastfeeding area with power and seating is available upon request. We will work with you to identify locations, arrange access, and coordinate pump/breastfeeding breaks.

Please note this is not an exhaustive list. Additional help and information on resources are available during an intake appointment.
