What: Enter the Big IDEA 30-day challenge for a chance to bring your new product or technology idea to life and win a prize package valued at over $5,000. Work in a collaborative environment researching, testing, and developing 3D models and produce your idea.
Who can apply: Individuals or teams of two who have an idea for a new product or technology. Up to 10 entries are chosen to participate.

How much: cost is FREE
Why: Participants receive free access to a fully-equipped workspace and the Fab Lab (a fabrication laboratory is a space equipped for product prototyping and visualization), mentoring, design assistance. During the challenge, participants develop a product pitch which prepares them to compete in local business and entrepreneur competitions for additional monies or to develop a product or business. The winning idea receives three months of free rent in the Technology Accelerator, a space designed to help anyone develop an idea into a marketable product or business. They also receive a 3D prototype of their product, additional mentoring, and media, and promotional opportunities.
