Associate Degree Nursing


The Patrick & Henry Community College Associate Degree Nursing program will accept applications March 20 – 24, 2023.  We recommend speaking with a Nursing Advisor (clester@patrickhenry.edu) before enrolling in courses.  All applicants to the program must attend an Information Session within 6 months of submitting their application to the program.

Program Outcomes 

Associate Degree Nursing Pre-Admission Testing:
Students who have applied and met the pre-application and pre-requisite requirements will be invited to take the Kaplan Nursing School Admissions Test.
The test covers Science (Anatomy and Physiology), Math, Reading, Writing, and Critical Thinking.
Nursing Admission Test study guides (e.g. HESI Admission Exam Review and Kaplan Nursing School Entrance Exams Study Guide) are on reserve in the Learning Resource Center (LRC) on the main P&HCC campus. Students can also make an appointment in the Math Lab or Tutor center in the LRC to review exam topics

Firt-Time Pass Rates

NCLEX-RN Pass Rates are calculated based on the graduate’s first testing attempt & reflect the previous semester enrollment.
