ROAD Scholars


PHCC students in any of these categories may apply:

  • First-generation college students (parent/guardian has not earned a bachelor’s degree
  • Classified as low income according to Department of Education federal guidelines
  • Documented disAbility

Students who apply and are selected must:

  • Demonstrate a need for academic support services
  • Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
  • Maintain a 2.0 or higher GPA
  • Strive to complete their program of study

Available Services

  • Additional academic support and advising
  • Supplemental financial aid opportunities
  • Assistance with financial literacy/budgeting assistance
  • Visits to educational, historic, and cultural events
  • Career and transfer advising
