Notice of Nondiscrimination

Patrick & Henry Community College is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination in employment and educational opportunity. This policy specifically prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, sex (including pregnancy), color, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, political affiliation, family medical history or genetic information, or against otherwise qualified persons with disabilities in educational and employment opportunities, programs and activities. The policy permits appropriate employment preferences for veterans and specifically prohibits discrimination against veterans. Harassment of an individual or group on the basis of any of these factors has no place in a learning or work environment and is prohibited.

Patrick & Henry Community College offers programs in the following areas:

• Nursing and Allied Health
• Physical and Life Sciences

Some of these vocational programs offer admission based on selective criteria through a separate admissions process that is nondiscriminatory. These programs are Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant.

As a recipient of federal funds, Patrick & Henry Community College (the College or P&HCC), is required to comply with Title IX of the Higher Education Amendments of 1972, 20 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.
