About the Program…
The College Success Program began at PHCC in the fall of 2012. College Success Coaches were hired and delegated the responsibility of ensuring students achieve success in their academics.
The Student Success Coach, a position reporting to the Director of Student Success Center, is responsible for providing assistance to college students who have been identified as at-risk or underserved. Success Coaches serve as a direct point of contact for students. Coaches establish and track students, then connect them with the recommended resources needed to be successful.
Students enrolled the program can communicate and learn about services through a number of effective ways such as face-to-face meetings, e-mail, or phone.
